Vanna works as an artist, primarily on her expansive array of published comics, centering on the Celesbians, a revolutionary gang of polyamorous lesbians who fight the establishment by day, and fall in love by night. Aimee has always been a relatively shy person. She was never one to stand out, and was always described by everyone she met as a “great listener.” This streak continued until she met Ritsu Amano.
Aimee met Ritsu while they were both enrolled in a marketing course at Michigan State University. Inspired by his charm and refusing to let another great thing pass her by, Aimee summoned all of her strength and asked Ritsu on a date, to which he readily agreed.
Their first date was a picnic in the park, where they talked, people-watched, and laughed until, before they knew it, the sun had set, and they were alone. Aimee grabbed her camera, and the two took photos together for hours, embracing under the moonlight and capturing the moment for an eternity. She still keeps the photos framed on her nightstand.

Ritsu is the type of tough, sensitive, soft-spoken, dreamy guy who you might find in a fanfiction, but don’t be fooled by his idyllic exterior — he’s also a massive jokester. Ritsu somehow always manages to find the right quip to get under your skin and make you want to deck him, but it’s always in good fun.
When Aimee met Ritsu, he had bleach-blond hair tied up in a top-bun, as if a beacon to whatever modeling agent might be wandering by. He was nailing the “too good for you” idol aesthetic that many could never achieve without coming off as cloying. Still, it wasn’t the good looks or attitude that drew Aimee towards him — it was because he made her laugh.
Every time their professor would flub a line or speak the first half of a double entendre, Ritsu always knew the right thing to say to get Aimee to snicker and bury her head in her desk. And the best part, to Aimee, was that Ritsu hadn’t yet mastered the art of not laughing at your own jokes, and Ritsu’s laugh was to die for.

Zefir is the type of person who would give you the cold shoulder for a week if you wrote the word “unassuming” in their bio. They possess a powerhouse intellect and an unmatchable presence, but not, of all things, a filter.
Zefir is known for speaking their mind regardless of what others may think. While this tendency may come off as crass at first, their overtly direct communication style comes in handy when it cuts through the bullshit.
Ever the self-starter, Zefir dropped out of college to pursue their upstart developments in wireless charging technology. At the age of 19, they sold their invention to a tech startup for $5,000,000, half of which they subsequently invested in a non-profit, ZLTS (Zenith Life Technological Solutions), which strives to make the technology people need for survival better and more accessible.
With some of their remaining personal finances, and with the help of Luciano Cruz, they started the Hyper-Casual Social Club, a community for like-minded adults who wish to express their likes, wants, and needs freely.

Ayla is perhaps the human embodiment of the term “no-nonsense”. She’s tough in all senses of the word, and above all else, the one thing she hates is people who try to tell other people what to do. Still, she’s hardly a bully — beneath her gruff exterior, Ayla possesses a remarkably kind, tender soul.
Ayla grew up in Boston, Massachusetts with her father, who worked two jobs to support their little family, and who she respects more than anybody. At the age of 22, however, she decided to move over 800 miles to Port Puddingstone, Michigan to be with her girlfriend. Unfortunately, the relationship would fizzle out and end in a matter of weeks, leaving Ayla estranged from her hometown, culture, and family.
Luckily, it was here that she’d meet Javier and Luciano Cruz, who would let her stay with them while she got herself back on her feet. However, where she became engrossed in the Hyper-Casual Social Club, and made herself a well-loved member of the community.
She now works at Tuffaznailz Gym as a manager by day, and still video-chats with her father every night from the comfort of her new home, with her new, second family.

Javier displays a sort of grace that some might describe as camp, but to Javier, it is entirely sincere. He had always been the flamboyant sort, with an apparent ambition and lofty presentation that always had the girls swooning.
To say that Javier lives in his brother’s shadow would not at all be an insult to him. His brother, Luciano Cruz, owns and manages Luciano’s Bar and Grille in Port Puddingstone, Michigan, as well as the 4-bedroom house where the two live. Javier wears his family name with honor, even if he does not let it define him.
Though he is but a humble bartender and chef by day, Javier has ambitions of becoming a movie star. He starred in every play in his High School theater company, and is very proud to show anybody who will watch a video of him as “Restaurant Patron #5” in “Dylan Stryker: Dylan Strykes Back”.

Albert is an almost shockingly modest guy. Contrary to his bleach-blond hair and near-constant “Hollywood Face,” as Javi would put it, the place he finds most comfortable is near the back of the crowd.
Albert attended the same High School as Javier, and the two hit it off near-instantaneously. They were always at the back of the class poking fun at whatever caught their eye, and they always played each others’ foils in every theater production.
When it came time to consider higher education, Albert moved to Port Puddingstone, where he and Javier could support each-others’ acting careers while amassing enough savings to move to LA. In this time, however, Albert discovered his love of writing, which brought out the authoritative side he never knew existed.
